1. Various Scenarios of Withdrawing to the Wrong Address
After initiating a withdrawal and clicking on "Submit," Aibit will commence the withdrawal processing, which requires a certain amount of time. Once the withdrawal is successful, it cannot be reversed.
In the event that you have confirmed a withdrawal to the wrong address or selected the wrong blockchain, and if the withdrawal has not been confirmed on the blockchain, you can promptly cancel the withdrawal.
If you provided an incorrect address and the withdrawal was successful, due to the anonymity of blockchain addresses, Aibit cannot locate the recipient of your funds, and therefore, further assistance cannot be provided.
2. How to Recover Funds Sent to the Wrong Address
If you accidentally send assets to the wrong address, and you know the owner of that address, it is recommended to directly contact the owner to negotiate the return of your assets.
If your assets were sent to the wrong address on another platform, please reach out to the customer service team of that platform for assistance.
For certain currencies like XRP, if you forgot to include a Tag when withdrawing to another platform or entered the wrong Tag, contact the receiving platform and provide them with the blockchain transaction ID (TxID) from your Aibit withdrawal, along with relevant information for retrieval.
