1. Deposit the Wrong Currency to Aibit Address
a. Generally, if a user deposits to the wrong address during the operation, we do not provide retrieval services. However, to mitigate significant losses caused by user operational errors, Aibit may assist in recovery within controllable costs.
b. Please provide a detailed description of the situation where you deposited the wrong currency, your Aibit account, the type of currency deposited in error, and the address, quantity, and TxID (very important). Our customer service team will promptly assess whether it meets the retrieval requirements.
c. If it is possible to recover the wrongly deposited currency, we may need to perform wallet software installation or upgrades, as well as operations such as exporting and importing private keys. Due to substantial manpower costs, time costs, and risk control costs, the entire process will take at least one month or more. Please be patient.
2. Deposit to an Address Outside Aibit
If your cryptocurrency is deposited to the wrong address, Aibit will not receive the corresponding blockchain assets. Due to the anonymity of blockchain, we cannot assist in recovery. We recommend contacting the owner of the corresponding address through other means to negotiate retrieval.
